The Pattern Approval is a certificate required for all measurement instruments that have a visual indicator (or scale) and are subject to settings or calibration.
All these instruments must be put into the register of the Gosstandart Board in Moscow.
The validity of the metrological certificate can be for a single batch or for a period of up to five years. In order to carry out necessary tests, the delivery of samples to a specific laboratory may be requested for the obtainment of this certificate.
The time scale for the issue of this certificate is 60-90 working days from the delivery of the necessary documentation.
