For some products to be exported to and used in Russia, a Technical Passport is necessary, according to Russian law.
This document is required mainly for pressurised products and the most of the products those are subject to the RTN (ex GGTN) permit for the end-use. The passport must accompany the product for its entire life.
The document contains technical data laid out in a format pre-established by the Russian authorities. The accompanying documents of the product must then be attached to the form, such as the instruction manual, the quality manual, the trial results, guarantee details, etc.
The time scale for its issue is 45 working days from the delivery of the necessary documentation.
