- Initiate, control and check at regular intervals, all set outs whether carried out by the main contractor or its subcontractors.
- Coordinating the activities of all main contractor and subcontractors by regular briefings and checks.
- Assisting the Client in compiling scope of works and tender lists for each trade.
- Examining regularly the performance of main contractor, subcontractors and suppliers (productivity, quality and timing)
- Hold weekly co-ordination meetings with all contractors and ensure minutes of meetings are kept.
- Reporting promptly to the Client Management any contractor or supplier whose performance is substandard when compared to the sub-contract or the contract documentation.
- Inspection of the quality of workmanship and materials supplied by subcontractors meet the requirements of the contract documents
- Inspections of the subcontractors fulfill the works required by then under their scope of works included in their contracts. Notify the client of any variances immediately.
- Inspection of each delivery of supplies for quality and quantity.
- Ensure that the site is secured and all temporary fences are in place at the completion of each work day.
