Personnel Certification

Certify Competence. Demonstrate Capability. Build Trust.
PERSONNEL CERTIFICATION SERVICES

Global Alliance Register coordinates access to independent personnel certification through its worldwide network of accredited personnel certification bodies, recognized scheme owners and specialist technical partners.

GAR helps organizations and professionals identify the appropriate competence scheme, confirm eligibility and prerequisites, select the right certification route, coordinate application and assessment interfaces, arrange examination requirements and follow the process through certification, registration and recertification where applicable.

Our objective is to make personnel certification more accessible, better coordinated, internationally relevant and easier to manage while preserving the independence and impartiality of the appointed personnel certification body.

THE GAR APPROACH

One Competence Requirement. The Right Certification Scheme. One GAR Interface.

Personnel certification requirements vary according to profession, technical discipline, industry, jurisdiction, employer specification and certification scheme. GAR evaluates the requirement first and then coordinates the appropriate recognized route according to accreditation, technical scope, scheme recognition, location, prerequisites, examination availability, schedule and recertification requirements.

INTERNATIONAL FRAMEWORK ISO/IEC 17024 Certification of Persons

Independent Certification of Persons

Certification of persons provides assurance that an individual meets defined competence requirements within a specific certification scheme. Where accredited personnel certification is required, GAR coordinates access to certification bodies accredited or otherwise recognized for the applicable scheme in accordance with ISO/IEC 17024 and relevant scheme requirements.

Certification scope, eligibility, assessment method, validity and recertification requirements remain subject to the applicable certification scheme and the appointed certification body.

THE GAR PERSONNEL CERTIFICATION ADVANTAGE

Why Coordinate Personnel Certification Through GAR?

Global Certification Network

Access to accredited and recognized personnel certification bodies across multiple technical disciplines and markets.

Scheme-Neutral Approach

GAR identifies the appropriate scheme according to the competence requirement rather than limiting the client to one provider.

One Coordination Interface

Applications, prerequisites, examinations, certification-body communication and follow-up can be coordinated through GAR.

Technical Understanding

Industrial and TIC expertise helps GAR distinguish between training, qualification, examination, certification and regulatory requirements.

Corporate Programs

Certification requirements can be coordinated for groups of employees, contractors, inspectors and technical specialists.

International Reach

GAR can evaluate available certification routes according to location, recognition, language and examination availability.

Training Integration

Where preparation is needed, relevant training can be coordinated separately without compromising certification independence.

Lifecycle Support

Certification validity, surveillance where applicable, renewal and recertification requirements can be incorporated into the program.

โœ“
IMPARTIALITY & INDEPENDENCE

Certification Decisions Remain Independent

GAR may coordinate certification routes, applications, technical interfaces, training requirements and examination logistics. Examination results, competence evaluations and formal certification decisions remain the responsibility of the appointed certification body or scheme authority in accordance with the applicable certification scheme.

Where GAR or a partner provides training, appropriate separation between training and independent certification activities must be maintained.
